Photo: South Florida Dike Poses "Grave Danger," Engineers Say



Marshes sit atop south Florida's Lake Okeechobee, the second-largest freshwater lake in the continental United States.

In a recent report, engineers say that the dike around the lake could collapse in a hurricane or from rising water levels, posing a "grave threat" to Florida's people and environment.
