Photo: New Saturn Ring Is Largest Known; May Solve Moon Puzzle



Saturn (inset) is just a dot when seen in the context of its newfound ring, as seen in an artist's conception. The faint ring has the widest diameter of any known planetary ring in the solar system, according to an October 2009 study.
