Photo: "Vibrating Mice" Develop Less Fat, Study Shows



Young lab mice—such as these gray mice above—that were placed on a vibrating platform for daily 15-minute intervals did not develop as much fat as non-vibrated mice.

Although the research is preliminary, the scientists say the experiment could help in developing new treatments for obesity.
