Photo: "Jurassic Park" Raptors Had Feathers, Fossil Suggests



A velociraptor arm fossil from the Gobi Desert (above, top) has six evenly spaced "knobs" where researchers say feathers once attached (below).



The discovery adds to a wealth of evidence that nonflying dinosaurs such as raptors gave rise to modern birds, experts argue.
