Photo: World's Oldest Footprints Found in Nevada?



The world's oldest footprints? Or just "paired rows of dots," as one critical scientist called them?

The ancient depressions in this layer of rock are part of a 570-million-year-old trackway, an Ohio State University professor says. If that's true, they are 30 million years older than any previously found animal tracks.
