Photo: Roman-Era Tomb, Theater Found on Greek Island

Archaeologists have uncovered a Roman-era tomb complex and theater on the Ionian island of Kefaloniá that apparently escaped the notice of looters.

One of the newly discovered tombs, seen here, has a stone door that still swings on stone "hinges," while others held stashes of gold, glass and clay vases, and bronze artifacts.
