Photo: Bizarre Gelatinous Fish Found in Brazil



A bizarre gelatinous fish found off the coast of Brazil most likely belongs to a little-understood deep-sea group known as jellynose fish, which includes the young larva seen above, experts said in September 2009.

It's unclear whether the new Brazilian specimen is a previously unidentified species or if it's a species that's been found before.
