Photo: Earth's "Wobbles" Spurring Cycles of Evolution and Extinction?



A rock face from Spain's Teruel Basin shows the periodic nature of changes in Earth's orbit from 10.2 to 8.9 million years ago. New research into Spanish fossil records suggests these regular changes cause cycles of evolution and extinction.
