Photo: China's Earliest Modern Human Found



Features from the jawbone of an early modern human found in a Chinese cave suggest that Homo sapiens interbred with older human species such as Neandertals, a new study says. The find adds to evidence from Europe and Southeast Asia that human dispersal out of Africa was more complex than scientists have thought.
