Photo: Penguins Caught in Oil Spill Saved by "Commando" Veterinarians

Rescue workers rinse a Magellanic penguin that washed ashore after a mysterious oil spill occurred near Argentina's Cabo Virgenes Nature Reserve in May.

The self-styled "commando vets" of the International Fund for Animal Welfare are part of a network of animal doctors and biologists ready to travel the world to save oiled seabirds.
