Photo: "Homing" Crocs Voyage Hundreds of Miles

Steve Irwin and a team from the Australia Zoo restrain a large male saltwater crocodile that's about to be tagged and relocated to another habitat in northern Australia between 32 and 81 miles (52 and 130 kilometers) away.

Once displaced, the reptile traversed vast distances of ocean without tiring on its way back home, a new study reported.
