Photo: Neptune Easier to Spot Tomorrow, Thanks to Jupiter

In 1989 the Voyager 2 spacecraft took a series of images of distant Neptune, including this picture of the gas giant and its large dark spot.

Staring on the morning of May 27, 2009, and lasting for a few days, Neptune will be easier to spot from Earth because it will be in conjunction with Jupiter, or seemingly close to its brighter neighbor in the night sky.
