Photo: Amazon Children "Spontaneously" Understand Geometry

In a still image taken from a video, a six-year-old Mundurucú Indian girl in the Brazilian Amazon is tested for geometry skills. She points to a star shape indicating a hidden object on a map. She will then search for the object among an arrangement of boxes on the floor, which corresponds to the images on the map.
