Photo: Dust-Size "Crabs" Grab Living Cells in Lab Video



After being activated by heat, a crab-like microgripper demonstrates its grabbing skills on a blue bead. The size of a dust particle, the gripper could someday be used in biopsies and surgery, a January 2009 study says.
