Photo: "Monstrous" Robot to Be Assembled in Space

Dextre, a dual-armed robot that's part of Canada's contribution to the International Space Station, will fly into orbit in pieces on the shuttle Endeavor, which is scheduled to blast off in the wee hours of Tuesday.

"I'll tell you something," said Garrett Reisman, one of the astronauts tasked with reassembling Dextre in space, according to the Associated Press.

"He's enormous, and to see him with his giant arms, it is a little scary. It's a little monstrous, it is."
