Thank you National Geographic...lovely pictures..when we see the grandeur of space and when from other planets in our own solar system the whole earth is only a Tiny a tiny dot that needs to be pointed to be seen...then how big could we be on that dot as nations and individuals...and then how these nations step on each other as if they are really superiors in all space...and how inhumanely we fire the wars and kill without mercy...man should be ashamed...and all this happens when we have had prophets to preach human values and as holy quran says 124000 prophets were born on earth to help man live human...makes one really think where we are? ...who we are?...and what do we want to achieve.?....thanks to scientist and science...from outer space we are nothing..earth is nothing itself..a little farther our  earth is no where to be noticed...on the earth we act like GODS..

I believe the arrow in TIny Blue Dot has been misplaced, and the Earth has been cropped from this picture  entirely.  It appears much lower n NASA's original PIA17171 image, just to the left of center.  Look for yourself and you will find both Earth and Moon, smaller (as they should be) but in the same relationship to each other as in the narrow field image.  It's even labelled wrong on NASA's page, but use your own eyes and brain.

The image look majestic. Even from all the way out from Saturn's rings.

Amazing. The world seems so significant but in fact, we are just a tiny speck of the universe. Incredible.

Beautiful and stunning image. A living planet, definitely one of a kind. Wow and to think I live down there with about 7,000,000,000 others more or less like me. Great photograph, now if I could just buy a globe exactly like it.
