The so-called Wallow Wildfire has charred more than 480 square miles (1,243) square kilometers) in eastern Arizona during its ten-day rampage, according to Reuters.
The blaze forced the evacuation of more than 3,500 people near populated areas along the Arizona-New Mexico border.
Burning about 250 miles (400 kilometers) northeast of Phoenix, the fire ranks as the second largest on record in Arizona.
