An aerial view shows Hihifo, on the western coast of Tonga, on September 30, 2009, a day after a tsunami swept over the South Pacific island and neighboring Samoan islands.

Huge waves triggered by a magnitude 8.3 earthquake flattened villages in Tonga and Samoa and swept cars and people out to sea. In Tonga government officials said that at least six people are confirmed dead and four are reported missing.
