Kenya is currently experiencing its worst dry spell in over a decade. So-called "long rains" that usually fall in March and April failed this year, and some areas have now been in drought conditions for almost three years.
Kenyans are traveling hundreds of miles seeking water and food, sometimes entering protected lands and clashing with wildlife conservation efforts. Relief workers say scarce resources are also making political and ethnic tensions worse, and that the country is on the verge of a major disaster.
