Tehrān, Iran, June 15, 2009--Following a contested election, hundreds of thousands of supporters of presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi rally in the capital.

Incumbent president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared a landslide victory on June 13, despite swiftly growing international and domestic skepticism.

The protest was the largest anti-government demonstration in Iran since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Bloomberg reported.
