Beichuan County, Sichuan Province, China, April 24, 2009--Nearly a year after a devastating earthquake claimed some 90,000 lives, much of this county still lies in rubble.

The Sichuan government has said that it could cost U.S. $250 billion (€185 billion) to reconstruct the province's damaged buildings.
