March 28, 2009--Bedrock outcrops on Mars's Kaiser Crater are captured in a new image by the Mars-orbiting HiRISE camera.

Located at a middle latitude comparable to that of Seattle, Washington--about halfway between Mars's equator and a pole--the crater gets little sun, and its surface can get cold enough for carbon dioxide frosts to form.
