Not quite Moby Dick yet, a juvenile sperm whale inadvertently takes about a dozen remora fish for a ride off Hawaii, as photographed by Thomas Carey of Kailua.

Ranging from 1 to 3 feet (30 to 90 centimeters) long, remoras use suckers on the tops of their heads to attach to large fish and whales and feast on their hosts' leftovers.

The largest toothed whales, sperm whales can reach a length of 62 feet (19 meters) and feed largely on squid (sperm whale facts, pictures, map, more).
