PHOTOS: New Frogs, Tree Kangaroos Thrive in New Park

March 3, 2009--The endangered Matschie's tree kangaroo's habitat in Papau New Guinea is part of the country's first nationally designated conservation area.

Announced today, the YUS Conservation Area will help protect a 187,800 acre (76,000 hectare) tropical forest lush with ferns, orchids, and several endangered animals and birds found only in this part of the planet.
