One of the last usable images from a Webcam set up by the U.S. Geological Survey shows steam pouring from the summit of Redoubt Volcano on March 22, 2009. The eruption sent ash spewing high into the sky, but scientists at the Alaska Volcano Observatory said they are unsure exactly what knocked out the camera.
