February 20, 2009--A scientist holds an olive sunbird found during a fall 2008 expedition to northern Mozambique's unexplored Mount Mabu.

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is working with the Mozambican government to protect areas like Mabu, said expedition leader and Kew botanist Jonathan Timberlake.

"By conserving the plant life we can help secure a future for all the other creatures we saw there."
