Pétionville, Haiti, November 8, 2008--A boy, still alive, awaits rescue amid the rubble following a school collapse in Haiti on Friday, November 7, 2008.

The disaster, which is being blamed on shoddy construction, occurred during classes at the church-run La Promesse school in Pétionville, outside Port-au-Prince. At least 93 people, mostly children, died, and more than 150 were injured. The head of the school was arrested.
