Moscow, November 7, 2008--Soldiers dressed in historical uniform march through Red Square to commemorate Russia's involvement in World War II.

The display is a reenactment of the 1941 parade that led Soviet troops to the frontline of the war against Germany and other Axis powers.

Hours later, communists marched through Red Square to celebrate the anniversary of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution, in which the Communist Party of the Soviet Union took control of the government.
