The Obama Girls hula-dance troupe in the tourist town of Obama, Japan, performs after U.S. President-elect Barack Obama's victory was announced on November 5. The hula group had been formed in honor of Obama's childhood years in Hawaii.

The 500-plus-year-old town has seen its number of visitors jump by 20 percent since it began its "Obama for Obama" marketing campaign, the Associated Press reports.
