At U.S. President-elect Barack Obama's former elementary school in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta on November 5, students cheer at news of the candidate's victory.

Hundreds of jubilant children celebrated by dancing in the rain in the school's playground (watch video of their celebration), the Associated Press reported.

Obama spent several of his childhood years in Indonesia, the world's fourth most densely populated country.
