New York, New York, November 4, 2008--Ollie, a 3-year-old English bulldog, waits as his owner votes at a precinct on Wall Street as the stock market experienced an election day rally. Barack Hussein Obama, a Democrat senator from Illinois, was elected the 44th president of the United States.

English bulldogs are known for their loose-jointed shuffling gait and massive short-faced head, according to the American Kennel Club. Their lovable and gentle disposition and adorable wrinkles make them a popular breed.
