Belem, Brazil, October 12, 2008--Passionate pilgrims are among the nearly two million who attended Brazil's largest Catholic procession, the Cirio de Nazare (Nazareth Candle) celebration, which honors the Virgin Mary.

The two-day celebration includes music, fireworks, and feasting--as well as the hours-long procession following an image of Our Lady of Nazareth through the streets to the Belem basilica.
