Wuhan, China, September 21, 2008--Chinese farmers are crying over spilled milk in the wake of a dangerous milk-powder scandal.

Dairy farmers in Hubei province dumped urns of unwanted milk on September 21. The product was to have been purchased by the Sanlu Group, whose milk powder was found to cause kidney stones in thousands of children.

Sanlu collectors have stopped buying milk as a government investigation unfolds, and hard-hit farmers are seeking financial help from provincial authorities.
