New Orleans, Louisiana, August 31, 2008--Mojo Coffee House owner Demian Estevez covers doors and windows in preparation for Hurricane Gustav.

The storm weakened to a Category 2 hurricane by the time it reached land at about 10:30 a.m. eastern time on September 1, about 72 miles (116 kilometers) southwest of New Orleans. Gustav's winds were 110 miles (177 kilometers) an hour as it came ashore.
