New York, New York, September 21, 2008--Baseball fans watch their final sunset at beloved Yankee Stadium. Next April the famous ball club is moving across the street to a new $1.3-billion stadium.

The Yankees ended their reign in the hallowed ballpark as it began--with a win; they beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-3. When the park opened in 1923, the Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox 4-1.

After the game many players stuffed their pockets with dirt from the infield.
