Riederalp, Switzerland, August 30, 2008—A woman takes a whack at a pile of cow dung in the third Cow Dung Golf Tournament, held on a natural pitch in the Swiss Alps.

The rule of the game, according to the Associated Press, is to pulverize as many piles of cow dung as possible during a two-hour period.

Prefer golf balls? The resort town offers the highest nine-hole course in Europe—nearly 6,600 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level.
