Gori, Georgia, August 23, 2008--A statue of Joseph Stalin is reflected in shattered glass on the day Russian combat troops withdrew from the Georgian city following a ceasefire.

Though Georgian forces are again in control of Gori, the conflict over the breakaway provinces of South Ossetia and Abkhazia is ongoing, according to media reports.
