Manchester, England, July 16, 2008—Manchester artist Jo Vickers finishes arranging a massive flower installation in Albert Square.

According to the Manchester Evening News, more than 60,000 gerberas, anastasia chrysanthemums, and lilies—died bright pink with beetroot—make up the intricate Damask pattern, which covers about 10,000 square feet (900 square meters).

The display will be one of the highlights of the city's Manchester in Bloom festival, part of a nationwide horticultural competition.
