Sichuan, China, June 2, 2008A badly damaged middle school looms over tents of survivors from China's massive May 12, 2008, earthquake more than three weeks after the disaster.

The country is still struggling to rebuild basic infrastructure and manage millions left homeless in devastated Sichuan Province, even as officials race to counter ongoing threats of flooding from new lakes created by quake-triggered landslides.

Aftershocks also continue to rattle the region, including a magnitude 5.3 temblor that struck early on June 5. No damage or injuries were reported, according to the Associated Press.
