Beit She'arim National Park, Israel, March 30, 2008—The Israeli cabinet went underground for their weekly meeting—literally—by convening at a cave in Beit She'arim National Park.

The special session marked the start of the Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority's "Love of Nature, Water and the Environment Week" for 2008, according to press material from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ministers discussed upgrading campsites and creating a national bicycle network. The officials also received an update on the country's current archaeology issues.
