Buffalo, Missouri, March 31, 2008—An uprooted stop sign and debris fill the yard of a home after strong winds swept through the central U.S. Monday.

Three people were injured and a possible tornado destroyed an antique store and a gas station in the town, the Associated Press reported.

''There was no warning. We had nothing on radar'' to indicate a funnel cloud, Terry Lane, emergency management director for Missouri's Dallas County told the AP.
