April 1, 2008Paris Hilton has been in compromising shots before. But never on the cover of National Geographic. Until now.

Actually it's an April Fools' Day parody by the Harvard Lampoon humor magazine. National Geographic helped with design, printing, and distributionbut not content. (Read full story.)

"Parody is a form of flattery," National Geographic magazine Editor Chris Johns said in a statement. "We may not agree with everything in it, but we take it as good fun."
