Ancient ''Sea Warrior'' Crocodile Unveiled

Reporters snap photos of the skull and vertebra of a newfound prehistoric crocodile species, Guarinisuchus munizi, during a press conference in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday.

The remains of the fearsome predator represent the most complete ancient croc fossil ever found in South America, say scientists from the federal universities of Pernambuco and Rio de Janeiro.

Their research was published this month in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B.
