Düsseldorf, Germany, February 4, 2008—Eschewing the glittery escapism of other Carnival parades, Düsseldorf's Rose Monday revels typically feature political cartoons wrought in papier-mâché.

This year's entries include Osama bin Laden bathing in blood (pictured) and an attack dog representing U.S. politician Barack Obama biting Hillary Clinton, his Senate colleague and fellow contender for the Democratic presidential nomination.
