T'bilisi, Georgia, January 6, 2008Worshippers enter Trinity Cathedral in the Georgian capital to celebrate Orthodox Christmas.

The Eastern Orthodox Church traditionally observes the holiday on January 7, in keeping with the ancient Julian calendar, which runs 13 days behind the modern calendar.

In some countries, however, the holy feast is celebrated with other Western Christian denominations on December 25.
