Heavy Snow Kills Dozens in Asia

Porters pull tourists through snow in Tangmarg, 25 miles (40 kilometers) from Srinagar, India.

Heavy snowstorms and avalanches have killed at least fifteen people, including seven Indian army soldiers, in Jammu and Kashmir, the news agency Reuters reported.

A Norwegian skier was reported missing on Tuesday at Gulmarg, a ski resort in Indian Kashmir, according to the Associated Press.
