Ningaloo Marine Park, Australia, November 29, 2007Diver Brad Norman snaps pictures of a massive whale shark off the coast of Western Australia in this undated handout released on Thursday.

The endangered shark was spotted using a global program that allows scientists and the public to identify new sharks and enter photographs into an online library.

Weighing up to 60 tons, whale sharks are the biggest fish in the seaand fortunately for the diver—their favorite food is plankton.
