Ancient ''Fire Temple'' Found in Peru

An archaeologist works on a painted wall at the newly discovered temple of Ventarron in northern Peru.

A three-month excavation at the site revealed the 4,000-year-old temple, which covers about 27,000 square feet (2,500 square meters) reports said on November 10, 2007.
