Fire evacuees set up camp at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California, on October 22, 2007.

About 10,000 people have taken shelter at Qualcomm, home of the San Diego Chargers football team. Relief organizations have set up thousands of tents inside the stadium.

Bands played music, food was served, and massage therapists helped relieve the stress of the evacuees. "The people are happy. They have everything here," Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declared Monday night, the Associated Press reported.
