Rondo Dwarf Galago (Tanzania)

This 2-ounce (60-gram) monkey is dwindling as coastal forests are cleared for agriculture, a new report says. No detailed surveys have been conducted to estimate its population.

This galago was named one of the 25 most endangered primates in the October 27, 2007, report by the Primate Specialist Group of the World Conservation Union's Species Survival Commission and the International Primatological Society, in collaboration with Conservation International.
